2016 China - Canada's Industrial Wastewater Treatment Technology Exchange Meeting held in Beijing
Dec, 2016 China-Canada Industrial Wastewater Treatment Technology Exchange Meeting was jointly organized by China Association of Environmental Protection Industry and Canada Embassy Trade Office. National Research Council Canada industrial wastewater treatment experts and famous domestic environmental enterprises in wastewater treatment area attended this meeting. The topic of this meeting was about the introduction of Canadian environmental enterprises’ new technologies in industrial wastewater treatment, applicability and application prospect of these technologies had been discussed by both sides.
Ms.Yang Yan, Deputy Director of CAEPI International Department, welcomed the arrival of Canadian Embassy Trade Office and Canadian National Research Council experts. She said, CAEPI and Canadian Embassy Trade Office have nearly 20 years cooperation, both made lots of efforts in promoting China-Canada environmental enterprises cooperation. According to Canada’s demand, there are 7 Chinese environmental protection enterprises working in wastewater treatment area had been chosen for this meeting, they were: Beijing BCEG Golden Sources Environmental Protection & Development Co., Ltd, Bluestar Chemical Machinery Co., LTD, Thunip Corp.,Ltd, China ENFI Engineering Corporation, Beijing Guohuan Rhein Environmental Co., LTD., Henan Dahe Water-Treatment Co., LTD ,EnviroSystems Engineering and Technology Co.,Ltd.

As a top Canadian technology research organization and funding agency, National Research Council Canada is responsible to make Canadian governmental scientific technology development plan and invest to private high-tech enterprises research and development activities. Its subordinate Industrial Research Assistance Program is dedicated to provide innovation service for Canadian high-tech companies, including technology, commercial consultant and financial support.
During the meeting, Dr. Zbigniew Twardowski detailed the technologies and development situation of 7 Canadian wastewater treatment enterprises.
MS.Yang Yan pointed that the technologies introduced by Canadian experts met the demands of Chinese enterprises’ requirements; Canada had the potential to be a partner of China.
